Tools for Equity

Services that drive change

We support individuals, workplaces, and institutions in taking action to advance equity and inclusion, where all people have the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive.

For over 15 years, ICA has delivered equity, inclusion and antiracism training to the public service, education institutions, nonprofit, health, information and technology and private sectors. In 2020/21, in response to community requests, ICA developed the Tools for Equity program, grounded in trauma-informed, culturally relevant and equity-centred practices.

Workplaces hire us when they need practical, culturally relevant, and equity-centred services that drive systemic changes. Each service and product is designed to strengthen workplace culture, psychological safety, employee engagement, leadership development, hiring practices, and compliance.

Racial Justice

Every individual, workplace and institution has a responsibility to take action to fight racism. If we don’t know how, we need to learn how. To do this work we must address the historical roots of racism and discrimination that impact everyone. This includes creating tools to address systemic and institutional racism that exists in many workplaces.

We have created a toolkit with an extensive list of reading, watching, listening, acting, and supporting options to help create a community where everyone can fully participate and have equitable opportunity to succeed.
